Built to exacting quality standards and supplied with an impressive range of technology features as standard, the machines deliver high-accuracies, fast processing speeds and unrivalled reliability that will make them firm favourites with US manufacturers.

There are five different machine tool models in MACH’s turret mill range -: MACH VS-Classic, MACH VS-1SP and VS-2SP (manual machines), and MACH MDT-1 and MDT-2 (CNC machines).

Manual turret mill range

The MACH ‘Classic’ VS-1 model, first launched in the UK in 2012, has fast become the ‘go-to’ manual turret mill for UK manufacturers and a growing number of UK and European educational establishments. 

The machine is joined by two, new ‘next-generation’ SUPER PRECISION models - the MACH VS-1SP and MACH VS-2SP to create a range of machines that cannot be beaten on precision, performance or price.

The MACH ‘Classic’ VS-1, replete with its striking black gloss and polished aluminium head, distinctive US/UK branding and looking (and performing) like an iconic Bridgeport knee mill, is equipped with an infinitely variable R8 taper spindle (3HP/4200rpm), a 9” x 49” worktable with a 750lbs maximum table load, chrome slideways with a hardened table top and T-slots, and a Newall NHS300 2-axis DRO.

For customers looking for additional ‘high’ performance and precision, two new HIGH PRECISION (HP) models have been added to MACH’s manual turret mill range.

MACH VS-1SP and MACH VS-2 SP machines are equipped with a number of technology features found on the Classic VS-1 model - but there are noticeable differences and improvements that include Turcite B slideways and gibs with nickel-coated screws, hand-scraped hardened and ground dovetail slideways (VS-1SP) and square and box slides (VS-2SP), plus state-of-the-art EVS Yaskawa-spindle inverters and motors.

VS-1SP and VS-2SP machines are supplied with 3HP-5HP/5000rpm spindles and large worktables up to 10” x 54”.

CNC turret mill range

MACH Machine Tools’ 3-Axis CNC turret mill range comprises two different models - the MACH MDT-1 and MACH MDT-2.

The machines are equipped with the advanced and easy-to-use DynaPath control that provides customers with exceptional speed, flexibility and reliability. Conversational and ISO/G code programming capability makes the machines easy to program on the shop floor and a 8Gb on-board program storage facility combined with a 1000 line look ahead capability, deliver fast processing speeds and responsiveness ensuring high accuracy and superior surface finishes.

Simple to understand menus are a key feature of the control and on-screen graphics help eliminate programming omissions and errors. The provision of an advanced DXF reader, as standard, adds to the control’s flexibility and appeal.

The DynaPath control also features an industry-leading Wi-Fi-enabled remote diagnostic, fault-finding and monitoring support facility that ensures machine uptime. Both machines, with their outstanding technical specifications and, of course, their CNC control, have been designed to help manufacturers reduce job set up and part cycle times, and improve their overall productivity and performance.

MACH MDT-1 and MDT-2 machines are equipped with 5000rpm spindles (R8 taper on the MDT-1, and ISO 40 taper on the MDT-2) and large tables (up to 10” x 54”), hardened and ground table tops and T-slots, C3 class ball screws and the advanced DynaPath control with 12.1” LCD CNC touchscreen.
