MACH Machine Tools’ market-leading range of DynaPath controlled knee mills with integrated tool changers has welcomed a new, high-performance model into its ranks; the all-singing and dancing MACH MDS 845-8T.

Designed and built as a cost-competitive alternative to a small foot print vertical machining centre or toolroom type mill, the compact MDS 845-8T provides manufacturers with improved productivity and greater operational efficiencies.

The machine features a smart and uniquely designed eight position ATC arranged around the directly driven 8000rpm spindle (10,000rpm option with through-spindle-coolant capability) enabling fast and trouble-free tool change operations to occur.

DynaPath WinDelta control​

The MDS 845-8T is equipped with the DynaPath WinDelta control system, with its 15.6” LCD touchscreen user interface. The control is capable of accepting multiple programme formats via its inbuilt USB, ethernet or wireless interfaces. It can be programmed conversationally, via DXF, in ISO/EIA G-Code formats and has an in-built DFX program editor, making the control capable of accepting and editing programmes in any machine format.

The control boasts a huge 8GB of memory, and 1000 block look ahead capability enabling fast and smooth 3D contouring.
